SOUTHEAST STUDENT EVANGELISM FUND

Welcome to the Southeast Student Evangelism Fund! This fund was begun in 2004 in an effort to provide funding for the students of the Southeast Region top reach other students on their campuses with the Gospel. $23,000 was given in 2005 and this year $55,000 has been committed by faith. So far in 2006 $8,000 has been given to the fund.

50% of each contribution will be applied to the Gulf Coast Katrina Relief Project 2006 where students from all across the country will gather for 10 weeks this summer to meet the ohysical and spiritual needs of the hurricane ravaged community of Pass Christian, MS. Outreach will also occur in New Orleans.

At the Atlanta Christmas Conference 2005, students committed by faith to contribute $55,000 to this fund. So far $8,000 of the commitments have been received and now is the time to begin praying and thinking about how God wants you to reach your campus. Also pray that God would allow you to fulfill your commitment to the fund. You can give to the fund easily online through this link if you were at ACC05 or if you would like to give to this fund, simply click here.

When making a request, please provide your name, graduation year, campus, date of event, and a description of how you would spend money to reach students on your campus with the Gospel. Each request will be considered and providing plenty of information will help us better in making a decision and it will also give students an idea of how God can use them to reach their campus. Upon completion of the event, we will need to hear from you how God worked in your life, and in the lives of other students on your campus.

Campus Crusade has a great site where students are sharing their stories of reaching their friends and campus with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Check out student2student.com for great ideas and stories of how God is using students to reach students.
